On May 5th, at the downtown Watsonville Plaza, volunteers from the Regional Diabetes Collaborative (RDC), a program of the Pajaro Valley Community Health Trust, will gather to provide diabetes prevention education and blood glucose screenings to local residents attending the Watsonville Certified Farmer's Market. The event will feature music, activities, a free raffle for two bicycles, and much more!
This event has been generously supported by; Kaiser Permanente, the Foot Doctors of Santa Cruz County, Palo Alto Medical Foundation-Sutter Maternity and Surgery Center, Watsonville Yoga/Dance and Healing, Toys for Tots-Santa Cruz, Physicians Medical Group of Santa Cruz, Regional Diabetes Collaborative, Watsonville High School Health Academy and the Watsonville Community Hospital.
The Regional Diabetes Collaborative (a program of the Pajaro Valley Community Health Trust) is a membership organization of 40 public and private entities from Santa Cruz, San Benito and Monterey Counties.
